夏荊山居士曾言：「人與大自然有心靈交感的喜悅，大自然的清淨、大自然的寧靜，這美妙之精神感受與體驗，使人無形中放下一切，是真享受。」在〈竹鶴觀音〉的身旁，紫竹葉片的飄動中、六鶴的振翅中、以及岩石的紋理中，若能靜靜品味，即使細微，卻是最能綻放清淨之心的所在；雖然畫作中雙手收於袍中，但以上諸種美妙亦如觀音手捏法印時，兩指腹輕輕碰觸時的和諧力道，使人自然地寧靜下來，人生的歸宿有時便是如此單純。

Householder Xia Jing Sha once said, “Man experiences joy when having a spiritual connection with nature. The purity and tranquility of nature provides people a wonderful spiritual sensation and experience, enabling them to unconsciously let go of everything. This interaction is true enjoyment.” By the side of Avalokiteśvara with Cranes, amidst the wavering of purple bamboo leaves, the flapping wings of the six cranes, and the texture of the rocks, if the viewer can tranquilly savor the painting, they will find that even minute details can be where the pure heart blossoms. Although in the painting, the two hands of Avalokiteśvara are tucked in herrobe, the aforementioned wonders are like the harmonious force when Avalokiteśvara forms a mudra by touching the tips of her fingers together, naturally calming people down. The sense of belonging in life sometimes is this simple.
