靈感啟發自夏荊山居士之〈竹林七賢〉卷軸，畫軸中主角嵇康、阮籍、劉伶三人為中國玄學代表。將夏居士名作抽絲剝繭，汲取傳統書法水墨文化精髓，傳承深奧玄道精神，取其人物描繪之神韻，力求極簡之幾何風格。畫面使用解構手法進行比例切割，向量型態與鮮明色塊和諧組合，將現代前衛元素與傳統書畫國學結合，開創嶄新文化風格，重新詮釋夏學新面貌，推展一代「夏荊山學」文創藝術。

Inspired by the scroll of Xia Jing Shan's artwork - "Seven Sages of the Bamboo Forest", the three main role Ji Kang, Ruan Ji and Liu Ling are the representative of Chinese philosophy. By minimalizing Xia's artwork, taking the essence of Chinese ink painting and recompose its proportion with vivid color block, I combine contemporary and traditional, reinterpret Xia's philosophy.
